Lucy Liu & Eloise Singer On The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend - "There's No Experience Like That" - Screen Rant

The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend is an ambitious VR adventure game inspired by the world's most successful pirate, a 19th century Chinese woman named Cheng Shih. The game follows Shih - voiced by Lucy Liu, who also serves as executive producer on the project - on the fateful night she first ascended to power. The new title comes from woman-led Singer Studios, which was founded by award-winning filmmaker Eloise Singer.

The immersive VR experience transports the player to a historically accurate 1800s China, where they'll traverse detailed environments as they solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. Meant to be accessible to all ages, the title doesn't feature any combat, instead focusing on taking players through an in-depth narrative experience. The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend has been in the works for several years, with early builds winning a Raindance Discovery Award in 2021 and a Tribeca Storyscapes Award in 2023.
