Eloise Singer to Speak at MCM London Comic Con 2026 on Building The Pirate Queen Across Formats
Singer Studios Founder and CEO Eloise Singer will speak at MCM London Comic Con 2026 this October, discussing the growth of The Pirate Queen from an award-winning VR experience into a wider global entertainment franchise.
The session comes during a major period of expansion for Singer Studios’ Emmy- and PGA-nominated The Pirate Queen, starring Lucy Liu and inspired by the extraordinary true story of Cheng Shih.
Since launching in VR, the franchise has expanded into large-scale immersive installation, location-based multiplayer entertainment and publishing. Most recently, The Pirate Queen: No Safe Waters premiered in competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, as part of the festival’s third Immersive Competition.
At MCM, Singer will discuss what it takes to build original IP beyond a single format, and how immersive can become a starting point for stories that grow across games, publishing, film, television and live entertainment.
