Eloise Singer Announced as Speaker at Berlinale EFM

Eloise Singer, Emmy-nominated founder of Singer Studios, announced as a speaker at Berlinale EFM discussing worldbuilding across film, games, and immersive media

Eloise Singer, Emmy-nominated Founder & CEO of Singer Studios, has been announced as a speaker at the European Film Market (EFM), the industry market of the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).

Singer will take part in the talk Worldbuilding Across Media, a session examining how original story worlds are conceived and developed to work across film, games, animation, and immersive media. The talk will take place on Saturday as part of the EFM’s immersive programme.

Drawing on her experience creating and expanding original IP across VR, games, publishing, and screen, Singer will share practical approaches to building story worlds from the outset — with authorship, coherence, and long-term vision embedded at their core.

Her recent work includes Mrs Benz, starring Daisy Ridley and executive produced by Oscar and BAFTA winner Lesley Paterson, alongside the Emmy-nominated, multi-award-winning immersive project The Pirate Queen, starring Lucy Liu.

The session explores how story worlds are:

  • conceived at origin, with clear creative intent

  • translated into interactive systems and narrative frameworks

  • maintained consistently as they expand across formats and markets

Singer will be joined by speakers from across XR, games, and animation, including Igor of Demagog Studio, alongside animation producer Ron Dyens (FLOW). The talk will be moderated by Pierre Puguet.

The announcement comes as Singer Studios takes a prominent position at Berlinale this year, with Mrs Benz premiering in Berlin’s inaugural Immersive selection.

As the industry gathers in Berlin, the talk forms part of a wider conversation around long-term IP development and authorship across media.
